Project Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an on-site Project Manager to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with experience managing projects exceeding $30M (multifamily experience preferred but not required). The Project Manager serves as the primary administrative leader on-site, acting as the key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. This role also requires providing leadership and guidance to the project team.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Estimating during the preconstruction process.
  • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
  • Develop project-specific logistics and safety plans.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work to meet project requirements.
  • Select and procure subcontractors in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.
  • Monitor project status related to schedule, cost, quality, and procedures.
  • Manage project budgets and analyze monthly cost update reports.
  • Oversee pay requests and billing processes.
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document flow.
  • Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to ensure project success.
  • Ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in wood-frame multifamily construction on projects over $20M.
  • Leadership skills to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate teams while maintaining effective client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and project management software such as Procore.
  • Ability to build relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors for successful project outcomes.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in high-paced environments.
  • Strong planning and multitasking abilities.
